Alexandra and Keith said “I do”

Alexandra and Keith’s wedding was full of fun, creative and unique elements.  The ceremony had the cutest four legged ring bearer ever, Keith got surprised with the most fun groom’s cake ever and Alexandra’s bridal party had the most expecting ladies ever!

Alexandra and Keith saw each for the first time on their big day at the Planting Fields Arboretum.  We did some of the couple’s and wedding party portraits there then headed over to Harbor Links for the ceremony and reception.  The  weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony and after the I dos, Alexandra’s sister surprised the couple with a pair of white doves.

The Jill Gioia Band entertained the guests throughout the night.

Here are some of my favorite moments and details from Alexandra and Keith’s wedding day.

Alexandra put a lot of thought into her flowers, bouquets, ceremony flowers and it was so nice to see how Verbena Florist brought it to life.  The flowers were exquisite.

How cute is this: Cooper the ring bearer accompanied by Mia and Sydney the flower girls and their mom.

Both Alexandra and Keith, who are big animal people,  were touched by Audrey’s surprise, the dove release.

The fun, creative and very unique cake that Alexandra surprised Keith with.  People were standing around admiring the cake – no one wanted to eat it.

The cake shows Alexandra and Keith driving with Cooper and their 3 cats.

At the end of the day, Cooper was giving a little interview and sending good wishes to the couple.  Recorded by Mike from Infinite Video.

The night was closed with some sparklers.

Alexandra and Keith – wishing you the best and lots of happiness!!

Emily+Mike

Emily and Mike chose the beautiful Morgan park in Glen Cove for their engagement portraits.  The rain held out for the session and some of the dark clouds actually added some pretty drama to the photos.

Here are some of my favorites:

Looking forward to seeing Emily and Mike at their September wedding!

Daniella+Gavin

I photographed Daniella and Gavin’s engagement portraits in beautiful Stone Harbor, on the New Jersey shore.
Daniella has been spending all her summers here since she was a little girl and knows every little corner of the town.
We visited some of the couple’s favorite hang out spots, had some famous home made ice cream at Springer’s and I also got a mini tour of the town.

Thank you Daniella and Gavin for my mini getaway!
I am really looking forward to the wedding next summer!

Carol and Ed are married!

Carol and Ed had it all on their wedding day: fire, water and wind and lots of love and laughter.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Perona Farms in New Jersey.
We started with the couple’s portraits while the weather was bright and sunny.
By the time the ceremony begun the rain started up and during Ed’s vows, thunder and lightning prompted everyone to run inside the building.
Carol and Ed quickly picked up where it was left off, repeated their vows and finished the ceremony.
The reception’s highlight was Ed’s serenade to Carol and the colorful fireworks that closed the very special and memorable wedding day.

Here are some images from Carol and Ed’s day:

Lisa+Dave | The proposal

Love is alive and well!!

Dave is the brother of Leslie, whose wedding I photographed last summer.  I got very excited when Dave contacted me several weeks ago about photographing when he proposes to his girlfriend, Lisa, in Central Park.  What started out as a lunch date at the Boathouse Restaurant, turned into the biggest surprise to Lisa;  after several fun questions, Dave asked Lisa  ”Will you marry me?” on a special rock.

Of course Lisa said Yes!

Both of them were beaming with happiness!  Congratulations to Lisa and Dave!!
