Met up with Nina and Tom the day after their wedding to capture some portraits in Long Island City and DUMBO.

These two are so much fun even with very little sleep and a chilly outside temperature.

We finished the awesome day at SEA with some delicious thai food and lychee martinis. Two people after my own heart!!! <3

I met up with Allegra and Michael in Roslyn, exactly where they got married a few months ago, for their after wedding portrait session.
Since their wedding day was rained out and we did not get a chance to create any outside portraits, they decided to revisit the place.
And of course, Allegra and Michael being true to themselves, also put their own unique stamp on the session.
Here are some of my favorites.

Working with Danielle and Joe was a photographer’s dream.  For their after wedding portraits, they said, you can pick the locations, we are open to all your ideas, do as you wish…  :)

So we went to some awesome locations in Long Island City, Astoria and Jones Beach on Long Island.

The beautiful bouquet was created by Laurie from LA Blossoms.  Danielle’s gorgeous Ines di Santo dress was lent for the shoot by Bridal Reflections.  Make up by the super talented Oksana.

Met up with the newlyweds, Eve and Jose,  in the Stony Brook/Setauket area where they have tied the knot a few months ago for the after wedding portrait session.

We found some romantic locations and the light was gorgeous as well.

This was the third time I have photographed Janice and Jack.  First time was in Manhattan last fall during their engagement session.  Second time around was during their spring wedding in Roslyn.  This time, six months after their wedding, we met up in Northport village for their after wedding portraits.

After wedding portrait sessions always have a relaxed and fun vibe to them and both the couples and I have a blast.  Janice and Jack and I walked around the streets, the beach and the park, stopped by the local ice cream parlor for a treat and even had some fun on the playground.
