This Throw back Thursday I am posting an engagement portrait from 2009. The engagement session took place in Long Island City and Astoria, Queens with Noelle and Mike who were newly engaged. 5 Pointz was a graffiti mecca at the time – an entire city block, a warehouse decorated with graffiti art. Lots of creative and amazing street art and aerosol paintings covered the building. Unfortunately 5 Pointz was sold earlier this year and the new owner will be converting the building into luxury condominiums.
Had some great engagement sessions, wedding portraits and even after wedding portraits at 5 Pointz over the years.
Here is one image from Noelle and Mike’s session. Noelle and Mike just welcomed their first baby, a little boy less than a week old.
