I photographed a lovely surprise marriage proposal in a very romantic setting on the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park in early September.
Eric has contacted me months ago from Texas with his proposal plans as he was ready to pop the question to his girlfriend, Megan, during their New York City trip.
He picked an iconic and romantic Central Park landmark, the Gapstow Bridge to propose to her. He also had some help from Megan’s sister and his friend, who created a huge “Marry Me” sign which they hung just off a bridge on a nearby tree.
Everything went according to plan, and at the very early morning hour, Eric proposed to Megan and She said Yes!
After the proposal, the newly engaged couple and I walked around Central Park and photographed at some of the quintessential landmarks such as Bow Bridge, the Literary Walk and the Bethesda Terrace and Fountain.
