Mandarin Oriental surprise proposal NYC ~ Dorien and Sam

Monday morning Dorien had no idea what kind of surprise Sam, her boyfriend, has planned as they were getting on a plane in Belgium.

That afternoon they landed in New York City and a few hours later Sam popped the question in a private room at the Asiate restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental hotel.  Dorien said yes!

The just engaged happy couple and I took some portraits in Central Park.  Congratulations and best wishes to Sam and Dorien!

Conservatory Garden engagement ~ Taryn and Steve

I photographed Taryn and Steve’s engagement portrait session at the Conservatory Garden and later in the High Line Park.

We took advantage of the beautiful spring flowers in full bloom in Central Park.

Really looking forward to Taryn and Steve’s wedding next spring!

Central Park and Gantry Park engagement ~ Jenni & Phillip

I met up with Jenni and Phillip the day after the proposal and we headed back to Central Park and later to Gantry Park in Long Island City for their engagement session.

We had a great time and luckily the rain held off as well.

Congratulations to Jenni and Phillip!!

Romantic proposal in Shakespeare Garden ~ Surprise proposal photographer

I photographed the greenest and one of the most romantic proposals in Central Park’s Shakespeare Garden.  The proposal took place on Earth Day, in the middle of lush beautiful greenery and spring flowers in full bloom.  Add some spring rain and musicians singing “All I want is you” by U2 and you got Phillip and Jenni’s dream proposal.

 

Orchestrated and organized by the amazing Proposal Planner, Sarah Pease and her team;  this proposal was earthy, organic and truly unique.
