Early 2010 I traveled to Thailand and fell in love with the wonderful people and their rich culture. So I was very excited when my friend and fellow wedding photographer, Bill Wang asked me to photograph a Thai wedding with him in the summer. The wedding and the reception took place at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers overlooking the Hudson River.
The traditional Thai wedding ceremony consisted of the ring exchange, the water ceremony and the first kiss while traditional Thai music was played. The couple and the bridal party wore beautiful Thai wedding attires. After the ceremony the couple changed into a Western wedding attire and danced the night away. Since the wedding took place on Fourth of July, the wedding couple and their guests had front row seats to the spectacular Macy’s fireworks on the Hudson River. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Amy and Jason, a charming couple from LA, were spending a week in New York City during the holidays.
A romantic dinner for two at the Beacon restaurant turned into a very memorable evening as Jason surprised Amy with a beautiful card and a stunning engagement ring.
The candlelit room, a huge bouquet of Amy’s favorite flowers, the string trio, the customized dinner menu were all important parts of the proposal Jason had put together.
After Amy said yes and a champagne toast, we stepped out to the street for a few wintery engagement portraits.

Mandy and Josh flew in from Oklahoma City to spend a holiday week in New York City.
Mandy had no idea that the private cooking class Josh booked for the two of them, was indeed, a disguise for him to pop the question. Before Josh asked Mandy to marry him, he read a series of recipe cards that reflected back on their personal history and the highlights of their relationship.
She said Yes!
