Alexandra+Keith

After a couple weather related rescheduled sessions we finally met up with Alex and Keith.  We walked around Old Westbury Gardens and enjoyed all the gorgeous flowers in bloom.

Later we headed back to Alex and Keith’s house to have some photos with Cooper, the couple’s French bulldog.  I had a great time.  Alex+Keith – thank you for all the laughs, the great dinner and for introducing me to Red Mango!!  See you soon at the wedding!

Jessica - Super cute couple (and pup), and Alexandra’s smile is stunning. Great shoot! The colors are gorgeous.

Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers wedding ~ Manhattan wedding photographer

This Manhattan couple got married on a beautiful April weekend in Manhattan.  The ceremony took place in the Church of Our Savior on Park Avenue.  Cocktail hour and reception followed at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.

The bride looked absolutely stunning in her exqusitive custom Pnina Tornei gown.  I’ve been waiting to photograph a Pnina gown for a long time and this dress and the details was truly  gorgeous in person. Her bouquet and all the flowers were created by  Atlas Florist Decorators.

After the ceremony, the couple and the wedding party headed over to Grand Central Station for some quintessential New York City portraits.  We finished the portraits at the Lighthouse just as the sun was setting behind the New Jersey skyline.

Creations Music provided the entertainment.

Here are some beautiful moments from the couple’s special day:

Congratulations and best wishes!!

Nicky Cottini-Sando - You look absoutely beautiful! Loved your dress, flowers…everything! Great pictures and looked like it was a great day. Congratulations to you and your husband! love – Nicky Cottini-Sandomenico

Karin von Voigtlande - Hi Mariann! It was great meeting you today. I’d love to come out to Astoria for lunch sometime, if you are up for it. I love the shot of your bride with her back to the camera, it’s stunning! Such a beautiful wedding and such well executed photography!

Julie+David

Julie and David picked some awesome locations for their engagement portraits.  Little did we know that we’ll be enjoying triple digit summer heat in April!  But Julie and David were great sports and brought a lot of fun and energy into the session.  We started out in Brooklyn, in DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge area then we were off to Central Park.  I had a wonderful time photographing Julie and David and looking forward to their June wedding!

Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon.

Jessica - You were right, they did pick wonderful locations. Every shot is spectacular! I think the one with the painted brick wall is my favorite. I cannot wait to see their wedding. She is going to be a gorgeous bride!

VICKYC5 - Nice pictures!!!

Tracee+Adam

I met up with Tracee and Adam on a gorgeous April day at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for a walk in the park and some engagement portraits.  We climbed some trees (well, mostly Tracee and Adam), hopped over some streams, walked on the Celebrity Path (famous Brooklynites’ walk of fame) and rolled around in the grass.  I had a great time with Tracee and Adam and looking forward to their fall vineyard wedding in upstate New York.

Here are some of my favorites from the session:

Jessica - The colors in these shots are beautiful! Almost as beautiful as your pictures 🙂 Great work!!!

Tracee - Mariann, the pictures are beautiful! this was a great sampling. excited to look through the rest!
