Avni+Chris | The proposal

Chris contacted me a few months ago from Michigan as he was planning to propose to his girlfriend Avni in Central Park and was looking for a photographer to document the special moments.

The weather was perfect in New York City in May as Avni and Chris were walking towards Strawberry Park. After a few snaps of themselves, Avni and Chris sat down on a bench and enjoyed some acoustic Beatles music from a local guitar player. Shortly after that Chris got down on one knee and asked one of the most important questions ever from Avni….

Naturally she said yes with tears of happiness and laughter followed! Avni was so surprised and had no idea of the months of planning Chris has been working on. What a special day and so glad to be part of it.

Congratulations to Avni and Chris!!

Jill – Mommy to be

I have known Jill for ten years now and she has become one of my dearest friends. I couldn’t be happier and more excited when I found out last summer that she and Phil, her husband, are expecting their first baby.

I couldn’t wait to drive up to Connecticut in March and spend a few days with Jill; she has the most perfectly round belly and her pregnancy has been good. We took a nice stroll in one of Southington’s park on the first springy warm day to create some beautiful maternity portraits.

Can’t wait to meet baby T. aka Half Pint!

The wedding of Nicole Ann and John

Nicole Ann and John chose the dramatic and unique settings of Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead, NY for their wedding ceremony and reception.

The aquarium windows were gorgeous backdrops for the reception and the nautical theme carried throughout all the details during the wedding day.

Both the children and the adult guests enjoyed the settings, the beautiful marine life and of course the sharks.
