These gorgeous boudoir portraits were created as a gift for Valentine’s Day.
The last several weeks I have been designing wedding albums for my couples and some new sample albums.
I would like to share some of my favorite pages.
The first few are from Melissa and David’s wedding which took place in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Palm House. This is going to be a 13×10 horizontal digital album covered with plum colored Japanese silk. In the past I did a lot of square albums (mostly 12×12 and 10×10) so I was excited to design a different format. This will be a gorgeous album!
This is the opening page. I just love the simplicity of the hands in black and white.
The second set is from the new sample album from Lisa and Brett’s wedding in Sherman, Connecticut. When I was first editing this wedding I knew I had to design a sample album. It had all the right ingredients: gorgeous Manhattan couple, picturesque ceremony site, a tent, a lightshow and a rock band!! This will be a 30page/60 side 11×14 vertical digital album.

I had a fun time photographing Liam aka Zen baby.
First time I photographed him he was still in Claudia’s belly.
And now he is a big one year old. He reads, plays the piano and loves his playhouse.
He stands and walks and has six teeth. It’s amazing how much can happen in one year!
Here are some of my favorite images of Liam.

I am asked this question by engaged couples at most wedding photography consultations.
“We know you are a documentary photographer but do you also take family portraits at weddings?”
And my answer is: Absolutely!
I believe taking portraits with close family members is a very important part of the wedding. Portraits created at these happy occasions will be cherished for many years.
Here is a personal example. My parents, who live in Hungary, visited me last summer here in New York City. I thought, wouldn’t it be nice to have a family portrait taken while they’re here? And my friend and amazing photographer Joseph did just that: he took our portrait in Chelsea and now it’s proudly displayed in my apartment and my parents’ home.
This family photo is very precious to us and it will always bring back happy memories.
So, returning to the original question, I would be very happy to create some beautiful family portraits on your wedding day as I know it will make lots of people happy.
