Victoria and Joe ~ 7.7.7

A perfect match made on the ground and in the air!

Victoria and Joe is such a beautiful couple inside and out and it was wonderful photographing their wedding!

Joe proposed to Victoria during a helicopter ride over Manhattan on June 6, 2006 (6.6.06) and they thought it would perfect for them to get married on July 7, 2007 (7.7.07).

The couple tied the knot in Sea Cliff and the reception took place in the beautiful Royalton at the Roslyn Country Club.

Victoria and Joe planned the day so we had plenty of time for photos and we hit the local park, beach and other great locations.

They also took some dance lessons and they really impressed their guests and families with a fabulous first dance. Great entertainment was provided by the Skyline Orchestra.

The couple will go on a Hawaiian honeymoon. Wishing much love, happiness and continued success to Victoria and Joe!

Here are some of the highlights of the day:

So what is the advantage of getting ready in the house you grew up in and it is just across the church you are getting married in?

Sea Cliff NY wedding photography

Well, the priest personally came over to get Victoria and the bagpipe player walked her all the way from her house to the church down in the middle of the street. We were there in less than a minute!

Phyllis Badinger - 😀 What great pictures, that was indeed a fabulous day and a wonderful wedding. Victoria and Joe were so happy, smiling all the time. You can see they had a great time. I hope all of their days are like their wedding day….so very happy, and full of complete love and joy.

Michelle DiSanto - What a wonderful day!!! We are so glad that we could be a part of it. We wish Joe and Victoria all the happiness that they felt the day they married for the many years to come. The two are very happy together and that shines through in all of their pictures.

Tara and GR’s North Fork wedding

Tara and GR chose the North Fork of Long Island for their wedding. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Lady of Ostrabrama church and the reception at the picturesque Raphael’s vineyards.

When I first talked to Tara around Thanksgiving about her wedding plans I already knew it was going to be an amazing wedding.

Inside of Raphael‘s is just as stunning as outside. We had a chance to take a private tour and even took some images down in the cellar.

Tara and GR had four toasts from friends and family that were touching, funny and emotional.

For their first dance the couple chose the song “Oh how happy you have made me” which was really fun, unique and showed off Tara and GR’s personality.

Then the party was on! The guest danced all night and the dance floor was packed thanks to Stages.

It was a great celebration and I was honored to be part of it. Congratulations to Tara and GR!

The couple traveled to Peru for their honeymoon.

Westchester wedding photography at the Davenport Club

Nancy and Joe exchanged vows and rings in the beautiful St. Maurice church in Stamford, Connecticut.

The wedding day was a fusion of Chinese and Italian traditions, customs, tastes and colors.

The reception was held at the Davenport Club in New Rochelle. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and took some relaxed portraits of the wedding party and the happy couple at the nearby park and on the beach.

Nancy and Joe also presented their parents with tea honoring the family.

The lovely flowers, centerpieces and bouquets were the work of Flora.

The couple will go on an Italian honeymoon.

Congratulations Nancy and Joe!

Flatiron and Madison Square Park engagement session

Photographing Martin and Eunice felt more like a playdate than work. We started taking photos at the hottest Manhattan rooftop bar then we walked to Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building. Finished the session with hotdogs, burgers and shakes at Shake Shack.

I had a great time; thank you Eunice and Martin!! Can’t wait for the wedding!

Small disclaimer: I don’t make my couples do anything (like climbing on buildings, hanging from the ledge, getting in park ranger’s car, etc); I am just an observer who takes photos of them having fun, being young and in love. 😀

Yeah, I love my job! 🙂
