Meatpacking District and West Village engagement session in Manhattan NYC

I enjoyed spending time with Gloria and Paul and getting to know them a little better. So how does a girl from Canada and a boy from England meet and fall in love?

Through their international careers of course somewhere across the ocean.

We started the engagement portrait session in Central Park with some lovely portraits then we headed down to the West Village/Meatpacking District for the fun and edgier shots.

A real life Cinderella moment.

We finished the session at Fig & Olive where Gloria and Paul celebrated their engagement months ago.

Thank you for the really nice time and I am looking forward to next summer!

New York Public Library family portraits in Manhattan NYC

I love hanging out with Liz, Jeff and Sophie and photographing this family. They’re always lots of fun with great ideas. Sophie is completely natural in front of the camera.

Last year’s portraits and holiday card were a big hit with friends and family so we tried to top that.

Fall engagement session in Central Park, New York City

I met with Alyssa and Rob in Central Park for the second part of their engagement session. We had just as much fun as in Shea last month.

They have such a great chemistry and they photograph so well!

I am really excited about their vineyard wedding next July and looking forward to it!!

Emily and Phil got married at the Foundry in Long Island City, one of my favorite places, on a warm October day.

Here are some of my favorite images from their wedding day.

The perfect man:

A few portraits on the balcony of the Benjamin hotel. Emily looked beautiful and sophisticated in her Selia Yang dress.

The signature courtyard and building of the Foundry.

A couple shots outside with the beautiful Queensboro (59th Street) Bridge in the background.

An important element of the reception.

The burgers, fries and macaroni and cheese were prepared by Naturally Delicious and it was a big hit with the guests.

Both dads made a toast to the couple and so did Phil’s sister and college friends.

A big knife and a tiny cupcake.

The DJ was playing a very special songlist upon the request of Phil and Emily who both have very sophisticated taste in music.

Some of the songs were from Belle and Sebastian, Spiritualized, and the soundtrack of Trainspotting.

Congratulations to Emily and Phil!
