Port Jefferson, Long Island wedding

Alana and Ola got married in the Infant Jesus church in Port Jefferson and celebrated at Danfords on the Sound with friends and family.

We took advantage of the gorgeous October day on Long Island and did a lot of outside portraits of Alana, Ola and their wedding party.

The couple included some Swedish traditions in their wedding day such as seating people next to each other at the table who don’t know one another.

Alana and Ola rented a vintage Buick for the quick rides between the church and Danfords.

It was a wonderful day filled with love and laughter.

Here are some of my favorite moments.

Lauren+Doc: A city and country wedding

Lauren and Doc got married in the Brick Church in Manhattan and had their reception at the Rockaway Hunting Club.

Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her Oscar de la Renta gown carrying a bouquet of lillies of the valley.

Rene of Mille Fiori transformed the tent into a wedding wonderland with the centerpieces, white and green flowers and hundreds of candles.

The band Eturnity was outstanding and kept the guests dancing all night long. It was truly an exquisite wedding.

Here are some highlights from the wedding day.

Manhattanville College wedding in Westchester, New York

Chrissie and Will got married in the O’Byrne Chapel at Manhattanville College and had their reception at the Whippoorwill Club in Westchester.

Chrissie looked gorgeous in her Provonias gown and Mantilla veil. Chrissie’s dad referred to the weather as the perfect Irish and Scottish weather in his welcoming speech.

Here are some of my favorite images from their day:

I think every man’s dream wedding location includes a few big screen TVs where they can glance at the game every once in a while.

clarissa - I’ve seen some of your photographs on your website and I love your work. You really seem to capture the essence of the moment through your photos. I especially like the bridesmaids dresses Chrissie picked out – do you happen to know who the dressmaker is? Thank you very much

Justin Stat - whoa nice ring!

Shea Stadium engagement session in Queens, New York

Being huge Mets fans, Alyssa and Rob picked Shea Stadium as the location for their engagement portraits.

It was very exciting to me because this was my first time inside the stadium. Loved the bright colors, the Nikon signs everywhere and the fact that we had the whole stadium to ourselves. Pretty cool indeed.

Alyssa and Rob were fun to take photos of because they really enjoyed themselves.

Here are some of my picks from the session.

Eagle’s Nest mountain wedding ~ Hudson Valley, New York wedding photography

Karen and Seth chose the gorgeous natural settings of Eagle’s Nest for their wedding.

They had an interfaith ceremony overlooking the mountains of upstate New York. Special guest was Nena, the couple’s Weimaraner.

Here are some of my favorite moments of the day.
