Bethesda Fountain surprise marriage proposal ~ Central Park, New York City

I had the pleasure of working with Brian and Jane on a romantic and snowy February day.

Brian contacted me with his proposal plan and asked me to capture the moment for him.

Brian chose the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park because it had special meaning for him and Jane, his girlfriend. The day before the proposal, New York City was hit with a blizzard and Central Park was blanketed with a beautiful thick layer of snow.

Brian proposed to Jane right inside the fountain, under the angel. Jane said yes!

After the proposal, the newly engaged couple and I walked around the romantic Central Park for some engagement portraits.

Romantic surprise proposal on a Manhattan rooftop ~ New York proposal photographer

Shari and Pete, a lovely couple from Australia, were enjoying their month long holiday in the United States. They visited L.A., San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York during their trip. Pete waited until their stay in New York City to propose to Shari on a Manhattan rooftop on a bright and windy January afternoon. Shari said Yes!

The newly engaged couple and I took some photos by the Brooklyn Bridge, watched as the sun set next to the Statue of Liberty before they went to celebrate in the West Village.

Manhattan surprise proposal ~ New York proposal photographer

Tom has contacted me a few months ago from the UK, telling me about his trip to New York City over the holidays and his exciting plans which surrounded his surprise marriage proposal to his girlfriend, Louise.

The couple arrived to New York City just days before New Year’s and their visit was packed with Broadway plays, fabulous restaurants and sightseeing.

Tom’s plan was to propose on New Year’s Eve in the Conservatory Garden of Central Park. Everything went according to plans and Louise said Yes!

Louise was so surprised and emotional and had no idea of the proposal; even an hour later she had lots of questions for Tom.

Congratulations to Louise and Tom!

Sisters: Samantha and Jessie ~ New York children photography

I first met Tammy and Ben about five years ago when they were planning their Manhattan summer wedding and were searching for a wedding photographer. The wedding was absolutely beautiful!

Fast forward a few years and the happy parents, Tammy and Ben, and big sister Jessie, welcomed baby Samantha into the family who was born just a few days before Christmas.

I photographed baby Samantha when she was just 11 days old and her big sister Jessie who is almost 2 and half years old.

Congratulations to Tammy and Ben!
